who are DirtyWink and where are you from?

We are a KAEOS-pop punk band from Vienna, Austria.

how long have the band been together?

Pats (the bassist) and Roman (the singer) play in DirtyWink since 2009, Behave (the guitarist) joined the band in 2010 and Pazi (the drummer) replaced the former drummer in spring 2015.

how would you describe your music ?

A few years ago we would have described it with: big party, making fun out of everything, … Right now we have to say that we are slowly grown up and our music does as well. So we are quite interested ourselves. ;-)

what did you think of Wales on your recent tour here?

Wales is such a beautiful country and we had a very warm welcome here. We were as well amazed of the enthusiastic welsh crowd who was always in a good mood at our gigs.

what was the best part of the Welsh tour with Kane'd?

Definitely the fun times we had with the guys from Kane’d. Were are really looking forward to see them on the next part of our tour in Austria.

what plans do the band have for the rest of the year and in to 2016

First of all finish our co-headlining tour with Kane’d and furthermore just do more band stuff like touring and writing songs.

what is the most memorable gig that Dirty Wink have played ?

We very much enjoyed the Wurm-Festival in Upper Austria. It was the first time we played in front of three hundred people, which was pretty awesome.

what is your favourite Dirty Wink song and why ?

It has to be ‘It’s not wrong’ because the statement of this song is that you should always do the things you have passion for and never stop believing in your dreams. This kind of attitude helped us just a few months ago when our former drummer quit the band.

what is the best and the worst thing about being in a band?

The best and the worst thing in common is that you spent very much time with the same people. The four of us are best friends, but sometime we just want to never see each other again  just kidding.

Do you think you will come back to Wales again?

We can’t wait! Hopefully we can start something again in the near future.
