We are a three piece band from South Wales Swansea called Windshake. . We have almost played as a three for two years now and we have enjoyed the time doing it very much as we have played in new places around the Uk and adventuring into new places within our music and physically going to new places. Our main objective as a band of people is to write music that people can listen to and enjoy whether it’s in a live environment or whether people are listening to our music through online platforms or on a radio etc etc etc. We basically in a nutshell like to write songs. Our members are a Drum playing named Oliver and a bass player named Ethan and a guitarist - singer named Sam! How long have you been together? Almost two years. Who are your musical influences? Our musical influences range from any type of genre. Inspiration off certain music is normally what has influence on us, including genres like blues, rock n roll, funk. James brown. Daft punk. Describe your music? Describing  your  own music can be like describing yourself, At times difficult. Our music though is kind of soft and harsh together to make one sound. Who are you Looking forward to seeing play Swansea’s Alternative Big Weekend? Salvador Sanchez are always fun to watch! And any other band really who we manage to watch! Punks 4 Mental Health is about. Challenging stigma. What does it mean to the band to be playing the event? it’s a pleasure to play at such an event for such a cause, in our days we speak about mental health quite freely as we are starting to understand whatever it is more and helping the people that suffer with different types of mental health more. So playing at a event like this could be a step forward. What can anyone who comes out to see you play on Saturday expect? they can expect a noisy forty minutes of our music or however long we play for! Anything else you want to add? We would like to add whoever is reading this come to the shows that will be over this weekend to see many unique musicians. Find out more about Swansea’s Alternative weekend and the timings of the event on the Creature Sound or Punks 4 MentalHealth Facebook pages!
