How long has it been since Conflicts played Llanelli last ?
It's been well over a year since our last gig in Llanelli so we are buzzing to play again!
Can you tell us what the band has been up to over the past year? ( eg line up changes etc)
In the last year we have had 2 line up changes, written practically a brand new set and we've really just found our sound.
Who are the band members now?
Ieuan Southard - Vocals Ynyr 'Pidge' Thomas - Guitar Dan Phillips - Guitar Joe Llewelyn - Bass Rhodri Dai Jones - Drums
How would you describe your music?
We'd usually call it Melodic Metal/Metalcore but we like to fuse other things in the Metal genre too, just to give it a twist.
Why did you pick the Masons Arms to play a gig ?
We love playing at the Masons because it has such a nice atmosphere and every gig we have done there has always turned out so fun! There's no other place around us that local with the same feel for live music!
What's the best and worst thing about being in a band?
The best thing would just be the whole writing, gigging and recording process. It really makes our day jobs/college courses a lot easier to cope with. The worst thing would probably be trying to name our songs appropriately!
What can people who come out to watch your live show expect ?
The unexpected hopefully! We've really changed since we played a show last so hopefully we'll surprise people!
What plans do the band have for the rest of the year?
Hopefully we'll play as many shows as possible around Wales and maybe break over the border into England. Also we're planning on releasing new music as soon as we can!
