Monsterometer interview (monstrous version)

This is an interview with the Monster part of Doobs from the band, Monsterometer, we will get an interview with his human side soon.

Who are Monsterometer?

Monsterometer are Doobs O'doom, Twitchy Richie and Crunchy Gareth (blood type G minor).

We are monsters from a dimension that most humans don't notice

How long have you been together?

We have been curdling blood for about 8 months.

How did you come up with the name of your band?

There are many levels of consciousness in this world that you humans think of as normal and while you are not looking, busy doing your shopping and watching telly, we slip in and hide behind the toaster or microwave and watch. Mostly we are unnoticed. There are many distractions that we take advantage of, newspapers are one of them, what's that all about, eh? Anyhoo, we like to hide in your living rooms. Behind your sofa. Yes, we can see you. That strange cupboard under the stairs? We love it it there.

How would you describe your music?

We started making music, while waiting for you to notice us. Still are, 'Hello, can you see us?', Surf music, punk music, psychedelic music, rock n roll, we're just waiting for you to see us, HELLO!?

Can you tell us about what influences your lyrics and music?

When we write music it has to be weird, it has to be different it has to be odd or I'm in the wrong place. Fairly sure I'm in the wrong place anyway

I love the gothic look and would love to be a vampire but I'm too polite. I also love graveyards, zombies and most dead people

You’ve got quite a unique stage show, without giving too much away can you give us a hint as to what to expect at your gig?

You can expect fake blood, gory makeup and severed limbs without all the boo hoo hoo of a genuine funeral. We also do funerals if you'd like to book us but I don't think it would be to your taste.

What plans do you have for the future of the band?

The band, MONSTEROMETER are planning on going home, to the dimension you guys are unaware of as soon as possible so please don't wait up or pay us any attention and we'll be gone before you even notice... Or will we?
