Metal Night at The Masons tonight 30/06/17 !

This Friday 30th June sees the second gig of the new quarterly ‘metal nights’ at The Masons Arms Llanelli . The night entitled Masons Massacre has been put together by guitarist Jordan Roberts also known as Biscuits. The night sees the debut of three bands who are all new to the venue !! Headlining the night, with their first Welsh gig are Death /Trash titans Hydra who will be travelling all the way from London to top the night. The band said ‘We were approached by Jordan from Sodamized Cadaver, he'd seen us when he played a show in London with us with Plague Father, I guess he must have been drinking because he liked us and invited us to play in Llanelli! Anyone who comes down can expect a night of heavy metal and partying hard. We got some new material and stupid gimmicks to try out. It's our first show this far out of London and we're in wales one night only, so we're making sure this is gonna be one to remember! Also playing will be Bath/Bristol technical metal band ‘Embodiment’ who will be warming up at the Masons for their Metal To The Masses gig on Sunday 2nd July in Bristol that will see them go head to head with other bands to win a place on the bill at The Bloodstock 2017 festival. The band said : We were asked by Jordan Roberts, guitar player for our friends over in Sodomized Cadaver if we wanted to come and play a show in LLanelli. We love playing over in wales and of course we jumped at the opportunity! They went on to say anyone who comes out to watch them can expect ‘ Crushing riffs and mind boggling technicality topped with brutal vocals. We'll be playing some new songs off our upcoming album too.’ Embodiment’s debut self titled album is available to listen to on Spotify and a free download over on bandcamp - Embodimentofficial.bandcamp.com Opening the evening will be Cardiff’s Desmond Perkins with his one man Gore grind offering ‘Anal Floss is Boss.’ Desmond said: The promoter who is putting the show on is looking at getting more gigs in and around west wales and invited the band to play this show as I've previously played in the masons a few years ago. The crowd can expect some groovy heavy rifts with obscure vocals and with fun beats to shake your booty to! Last time that the band graced The Masons was almost 8 years ago and throughly looking forward to returning again. Get down to the Masons for a free night of metal! Doors open 7.30pm and entry is free. Support your local music scene.
