Coming at you ! ‘A Night Like This’ live EP launch show this weekend!

I caught up with drummer of the band, Roman Samolinski to find out more! For those who have not heard ‘A Night Like This’ tell us what type of music you play ? I’d say we were kind of post hardcore with an atmospheric edge. That way we can make our music for all our styles and influences. What bands or musicians would you say directly influence your musical sound? All member have different influences and styles that we all merge to create us. Ranges from pop punk straight through to hardcore and heavier. What is the official release date for your new EP? The EP will release online on all platforms on may 9th and first physical copies will be available from 12th of May onwards. Can you tell me where the title of the EP came from ? Ie whose idea was the name and what does it mean to the band? “Between hell and home” has different meanings to us all. I guess we have put so much into this record and prioritised it that it has been hard but the outcome was worth every second. Who writes the songs and lyrics ? We all contribute to the writing procedure and tweak when it’s needed to get the best results and sound we can for every song. When is your Welsh EP launch show and why did you chose the venue you did ? The release show is 12th May. It will take place in Sin City Swansea. The venue has history for all of us whether going to see a show or to parties in our teens. It’s an incredible venue. And with most members being from the Swansea area it’s like a home show for us. What can you tell us about your Swansea support bands? Ie have you heard them before? Are they mates ? Do you like their music? We have support from String Theory, Wolf Culture, I am Gravity and Conflicts all of which are respected bands and are good friends. They all put on amazing gigs and sets and it is a privilege to have them on the show with us. There is a lot of respect between us all. What can people expect if they come out to your EP launch show? It’s going to be a great, memorable night. We want everyone to come out and have fun with all members and friends. Just going to be a fun filled night. We have been blown away with the support and everyone has been a great help with everything. We want to keep making the best music we can so everyone can enjoy.
